Hungry Little School Kids

We are well into the New year and school has started back for some its all new, as they start school for the first time. For those Little ones starting Kindy or Prep this year it can be a mixture of excitement, anxiety and full exhaustion.

The hours and days are longer, they no longer have their parent around all the time and they are leaning massive amount of new information. All this takes up a lot of energy, and so it's even more important, that they eat a good breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Breakfast option

Little Munchkins Morning drink is a great way to start the day with a Morning shake to get the brain functioning, ready to learn. A good source of protein and nutrition to help boost learning and function for the morning sessions.

combined with a meal such as

Musli with coconut yogurt

egg on toast

Avocado and tomato on toast

Lunch options

Rice crackers ( ham, salami, vegan versions), olives, capsicum, tomatos, pickles, carrot, cucumbers whatever combination you want to use.

wraps with cashew nut cream cheese and a mixture of the above.

gluten free plain pasta and a combination of the above e.g. olives, cherry toms, carrot.

leftovers form last night dinner

salad with an egg or chicken

After school when they come home and a massively hunger a yummy smoothie or milk shake with Little Munchkins Night will fill their tummy's and relax the mind from all the work they have been doing all day. It's a great wind down after a massive day at kindy or Primary school.
