Sharing success with your children

From the moment he was born, we formed a strong connection, and he becomes my whole world. It was like life was complete and felt right for the first time. It was also the beginning of my awakening into what is truly important in life. It was because he struggled with dairy, having got this gene from me that I started Natures Happiness. So he has always had a special connection with my success and struggles within the business.
Overcoming challenges has made me a stronger role model for my son and a more capable businesswoman. I love that I get to wake up each day and demonstrate to my child that difficulties are a natural part of life, and turning your passion into a career is a realistic dream. But celebrating success is just as important as helping them see that challenges can be overcome.
I have always tried to involve him where I can, and he loves when he gets a mention in media articles even if it just says, son. The night of the award I saw him light up he didn't want to go to bed he wanted to see mummy win an award. It was also good for him to see that we don't always win as two of my categories I was only a finalist in and that this is an achievement in itself.
